This past weekend we finalized the prototypes of the Desert Dawgs for both the Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 and the Suzuki C90 (Intruder).
Both items are expected to start shipping in mid-October.
The Suzuki C90 was a straightforward design and since my dad rides a Suzuki C90, we had easy access to a test fitter.
The Kawasaki Vulcan (factory engine guard bar) fitment, however, was a tough one. It required a design modification that slowed us down a bit: instead of utilizing a strap and clasp at the top as our other styles do (the radiator was too big to go in front and too tight to go behind), we created a "no-slip" patch on the top inside, which grips the engine guard bar.
